This is part of my "Rock Pool" ceramic series of jewellery dishes which are inspired by the colours of the sea. Each piece is totally unique and original. These are perfect for keeping your jewellery or little trinkets in one neat spot and they are pretty to look at as well ?
This particular piece reminds me of gentle waves lapping at a sandy shore hence the name 
This is a stoneware jewellery/trinket dish which has a wonderful organic shape and luscious teal, aqua and blue glass melted into its centre after glazing to create a rockpool effect. The inside of the dish has been texturised prior to glazing and the glass being melted to create varying depths in the clay so that the glass takes on deeper shades of colour in those areas.
The dish measures approximately 170mm (17cm or 7") in length and 110mm (11cm or 4.5") in width and has a depth of 10mm (1cm or 0.5").
