hello everybody out there in forum-land! i`m yatsu, aka meredeth, and i`m a bit book-obsessed. i write `em, i make `em, and --with any luck at all-- i sell a few of `em. (^_^) when i`m not buried in paper, i`m fawning over my latest electronic gadget or studying some foreign language or other.

Do you buy an existing book and redo the cover or do you make the books entirely from scratch?

yeah, i`m a little obsessed. (^_^)
they`re all entirely from scratch. i`ve got something of a paper obsession, so half the fun of making a book is choosing and fondling the paper. also, i like expiramenting with different styles of binding and different kinds of threads. getting to do cover art is like a bonus after i`m done toying with the insides. (^_^)v

yeah, she`s got like, tons of extra paper that she`s slowly using for her books. and then she buys MORE.
