....and one that has probably been posted many times before:
Does anyone have photography tips for small work such as jewelry? I have a digital camera, Corel PhotoShop (which I use to correct basic photography issues and sometimes apply a spot filter) and a very tight budget. I especially have a lot of trouble capturing the details of my work, while at the same time sharing size/shape/overview. Suggestions?
BTW, hi -- I didn`t know how to use the "Post Thread" function when I started my account here. My name`s Melissa and I hail from Richmond, VA in the USA.

Hi... I also have a digital (older) camera.. Try to photograph as much as you can outside...Natural light is always better. Stay away from dark backgrounds (I learned that from Snow...www.triplewillow.com) If nothing else build a cheap light box... Since your doing small pieces a light box would work pretty good. If all that doesn`t work, try doing your photos near a window... Hope this helps....

I am a very newbie myself too. What is the difference between post a message and subscribe to thread? As you can tell, I am not only a newbie, I am pretty computer illiterate too. All the help you can give me would be GREATLY appreciated.
