I am trying to get started on seed bead embroidery and have got some starters instructions however there are two things that aren`t clear.

1. What is Buckram?
2. How do you attach a clasp etc?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

How you attached a clasp depends on what you are making, ie pendant or bracelet. The below is a type of bead embroidery that has a beaded spiral robe that has a normal necklace clasp.

Burkram is a type a fabric that is kinda stiff that can be beaded on...it`s also a type of small purse frame. I don`t use either so I don`t have much advice on either. Sorry.

If this doesn`t help, let me know.

Ok, so I have Buckram (wouldn`t you know it but spotlight sell it LOL) I was thinking of starting off small and doing a pendant so I was thinking a Bail or something to attach it to a necklace??

Any ideas or helpful suggestions are appreciated.

I attach pendants sometimes by using beaded beads or by a beaded bail.

Try Szarka`s pages/websites/galleries, etc. She has been a tremendous help to me as I am new to beading. She is on this website under that name. Hope this will help you too.
