Soap Scents (2 posts) - Posted On : 12 Sep 2007 05:45 PM Edit Post | Report Spam
I started to make pure glycerin soaps.

I really enjoyed them because I seem to be allergic to everything... but the soaps I make don`t make me breakout.

I just wanted to get some feedback on what scents people would enjoy and would purchase.

Are there any scents that someone would enjoy that they have not seen (or smelled)? Your feedback is appreciated!!

Candle Scents (1 posts) - Posted On : 12 Sep 2007 05:43 PM Edit Post | Report Spam
My friends and I have begun to make soy candles. We sell them at local craft malls and at craft shows.

I know the market is currently FLOODED with soy candles... each seller claims their`s are the best... but ours really are great...lol.

I just wanted to get some feedback on what scents people enjoy the most and would purchase for themselves or gifts.

I mean, everyone makes "cinnamon" and "lilac" and "ocean"... blah blah blah.

Are there any scents that someone would enjoy that they have not seen very much in the candle market? Your feedback is graciously appreciated!!

Potter`s Wheel (1 posts) - Posted On : 12 Sep 2007 05:38 PM Edit Post | Report Spam
I really want to purchase a potter`s wheel to start throwing clay. It has been something I have been interested in for a long time. I am just a beginner, so I don`t (and can`t afford) to spend a lot of money.

Can someone share some info about where I can purchase a cheap (but decent) wheel?

Thank you thank you

Jewelry Display Ideas (21 posts) - Posted On : 12 Sep 2007 05:35 PM Edit Post | Report Spam
I always had a horrible time figuring out how to display my jewelry when I go to shows. It was either too hard to see or not "customer-friendly."

One thing I really did like is displaying one really nice piece of jewelry on a large beautiful polished stone or rock... it gave a nice "natural" and "organic" look to my display.

(Sorry I don`t have any pics because I always forget to take pictures at the craft shows) lol

Any Ideas? (14 posts) - Posted On : 12 Sep 2007 05:24 PM Edit Post | Report Spam
Those beads are beautiful!!! Maybe I`m old fashioned, but I think they would be fabulous with hemp... as a necklace or bracelet.

What do you do? (26 posts) - Posted On : 27 Aug 2007 08:36 PM Edit Post | Report Spam
It`s interesting to see what everyone does! Personally, I am a graphic artist, I work from home for a local advertisement company. It gives me lots of time to spend with my kids!

I`ve been doing miscellaneous crafts for many years, but just recently started selling my jewelry over the internet.

Thanks!

How many of You Cross-stitch? (11 posts) - Posted On : 25 Aug 2007 12:20 PM Edit Post | Report Spam
I got into cross-stitching several years ago. My grandmother always needlepointed, so I found cross-stitch very interesting and somewhat relaxing.

I taught myself how to do it, reading books and finding patterns on the internet. I don`t think it is very popular, but the people that do it really love it!!

Thanks for the info,
