Stores (4 posts) - Posted On : 09 Mar 2007 11:40 AM Edit Post | Report Spam
Looking for online store space. So far, I`ve found the following:
Andale - http://corp.andale.com/x-store_tools.html
Etsy - http://www.etsy.com
ProStores - http://www.prostores.com/product-information.shtml

Does anyone know of any others, for the purpose of comparison of features and monthly fees?

I currently have a store at ProStores but there are a few bugs, and I have one at Etsy whose website is down more than half the time it`s up. So I`m basically looking for somewhere else that I can call home thats not too spendy.

Thanks for any/all info.
Stef

My Husband bought me an ebox Studio setup ( http://bfads.net/pop/8725 ) this past Christmas. I never thought anything like it existed. The link is exactly what I got with a new Kodak z710 and docking center. Well worth the money.

My etsy shop: beadefulpins2.etsy.com
Only there since end of Nov06. It`s so dirt cheap, I don`t mind that I haven`t sold anything yet. I haven`t posted in any forums yet either. But I love the site, it`s very well organized with a nice professional look, and it`s CHEAP!

Wow Jan you have put so much time and effort into building this site, and it is, I`m sure far beyond what you expected. Whatever you decide to do is fine by me. I love clicking on the craft and beading ads (sometimes I get lost by doing that). The suggestion of a donate button is a great idea. All of the ideas are good ones. So count me in. SCHeys.
How do you store your beads? (36 posts) - Posted On : 23 Oct 2006 07:05 PM Edit Post | Report Spam
Wow, after looking at some of the pictures, I don`t feel quite as bad for having overloaded our house with beads. My husband is so fed up with my beads being everywhere that he`s decided to build me a "bead wall" (he`s a declutter wierdo) without me even asking. We revamped our office upstairs, now with separate computer areas. He left empty, a whole wall space (about 8ft) to put the wall up. He`s making shelves that will include little holes for bead containers of all sizes (fun). Since Friday, building material packages (knobs, hooks, bead trays, etc..) for the wall have started pouring in. Yesterday, he showed me the plans he`s been working on. I`m still in shock about it. As far as my current storage situation, I`ve purchased a big foot locker from an estate sale, I have 2 -6ft bookshelves & many other storage containers filled with beads, as well as alluminum bead containers, etc. I`ve probably tapped the $1k mark with money I`ve spent on my beading supplies and how-to books. Anyway, I will post "before and after" pics when all is said and done.
