I have always wanted to cover a table with shells. It was great. I had some small gaps when I had finished the top so decided to fill them with crushed shells and it turned out very well. To get crushed shells I bought a blender from goodwill and put in my broken shells. They have to be the right shells though as some are too hard to break up. It is a matter of experimenting.

It started with the box. It was painted gold and then I added seashells and some rhinestones but still leaving some of the gold to peak thru. I started off loving the box but my true love is seashells. I think they are magnificent in their beauty.
