I am an Optometrist and am learning jewelry design through trial and error (lots and lots of trial and error)! I spend my free time between seeing patients trying to learn new chainmaille weaves. The next time you are waiting to see your eye doctor it may not be because she is tied up with patients, rather she may be trying to add one or two more rings into a weave or chasing those rings down that she dropped on the floor before coming in to see you!
