Designer Heather Dean studied jewelry fabrication, sculpture, printmaking, drawing and painting before earning a degree in art history from UCLA. Ms. Dean also has an extensive background in retail, including sales, management and visual merchandising.
The business is named after Heather`s grandmother Jane, whose sense of style and ability to accessorize has always served as an inspiration. A childhood photo of Jane, circa 1929 graces the company logo.
Jane*Dean sells shiny, sparkly and special things like one of a kind charm bracelets, necklaces, keychains and refrigerator magnet sets. Many items have vintage jewelry parts incorporated into the design... recycling old, unwanted stuff into fantastic new stuff!
